Women at the gym - the fear of the dumbbell

I've been watching women training at the gym for some time now and there are thoughs crossing my mind I felt like it's time to get them off my chest today.

When I see these ladies 'waving their leg', reading magazines, gossiping during their 'workout' I just can't help myself form being that judgmental bitch. I mean how can you expect things to work without putting any effort in it? You can complain for 98989..x time that you been training and training and getting no results... Hey, but wait! You said 'train'? Think again!

Unless you are in the pub or cafe it's no time for reading, playing games on your iphone or gossiping. At the gym you train HARD! Yes HARD. Training is a freaking hard work with pain and sweat involved. Anything less than that is just a wish.

Okay even skipping this reading, phoning and gossiping part, how many times you go to the gym with your lovely hair and make up, in your lovely pinky tank top and matching nikes and sit on reistance machines? And then u leave looking exactly the same as when u entered? Exactly. U want to know how I look when leaving the gym? Soaking wet, messy hair, red face, dirty clothes, chalk everywhere, barely can walk... Spot the difference...

And u may say 'but I don't want to build muscles ...' Mhm I get that. So how u want to look toned and sculpted, lose fat without having any muscle? Thats just impossible. U think that sexy bum and firm thighs is made of fat? Nope. In order to get that dream sculpted body u need to train with weights and build muscles. Body without muscles is flat and hanging down in all those target places. Muscle tissue is also metabolically active, means the more muscle u have the more calories u burn. Pure magic! And no need to be afraid of going too hard on yourself. You wont get muscular looking or bulky. For woman to build big muscles its almost impossible. Unless u train and eat specifically for that purpose. But that involves insane work, freaking heavy wieights and sacrifices u would probably never be able to put.

So in order to get where u want to be, I repeat it again: swap resistance and cardio machines for free weights. Working with low weights won't build big muscle, just make it more firm and elastic. Combining it with bodyweight exercises, plyo moves will give u extra push. Adding many reps and minimal rest in between series an and you will get extra fat burning bonus. Better results faster! Besides free weights give you endless oportunites and variations of exercises performed meaning no more boredom!
